A walk by romantic Meersburg!

Magnificently placed in an area of steep vineyards directly above the lake, the romantic town of Meersburg with its medieval alleys, historic half timbered houses and picturesque squares radiates an almost maritime atmosphere. It’s no wonder that the town attracts more than a million guests year for year.

The 7th century castle “Meersburg” enthroned on a hill above the town is an outstanding landmark with its prominent tower.

If you wish to do more than just stroll, there is a wonderful selection of museums on offer: the Bible gallery in the Dominican monastery, the Dornier museum, the Droste museum in the castle, the Zepplin museum, and the Vineyard museum to name a few. And after all that there are cosy cafes or pleasant bars with great views in which to relax and digest the diverse, fascinating impressions that make up Meersburg.
